The Ibi Giga Ambassadors (IGA) has congratulated Mr Muyiwa Ajibola on his election as the Vice Chairman of Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Ekiti State.
Mr. Muyiwa, popularly known as Muyenyen won alongside his chairman in the local government election held yesterday in that State.
Mr. Ajibola is the Director of Special Duties, Ibi Giga Ambassadors, a foremost political support group that worked for the re-election of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.
He becomes the second director of the group to clinch topmost positions in recent times. The group’s Director of Strategy, Chief Mrs Olamide Falana was appointed as a Special Adviser to the Governor of Ondo State recently.
In his reaction, the Director General, Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Professor ‘Lanre Olu-Adeyemi described the election of Mr. Muyiwa Ajibola as a testimony to his unrelenting effort at bettering the lots of people of his constituency.
He added that he is a grassroot politician, a great mobiliser, a loyal and very principled man who always stand by whatever he believes in, no matter the consequences.
Prof. Olu-Adeyemi further described the Vice Chairman-elect as a bridge builder and team player who feels at home in Ekiti and Ondo State politics, playing significant roles in the support for the APC-led government in both states.
“We at Ibi Giga are proud of you, and it is our prayer that the Lord will help you in your new office as Vice Chairman of Ifesowapo LCDA”, the Director-General added.
He thanked the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and the leadership of the APC for believing in Mr. Muyiwa Ajibola.
Prof. Olu-Adeyemi congratulated the Convener of Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Chief Alex Ajipe, the Deputy Director-General, Chief Barrister Alaba Eniola-Ajipe, the Directors and members of the group across the state for the success, expressing the assurance that more of such recognitions would come for members in the future.
Similarly, the Director-General felicitated with Chief Mrs Olamide Falana on her appointment as a Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor, and wished her success in her new assignment.
He described the new Special Adviser as an activist, a workaholic and a great srategist whose wealth of experience in advocacy and social re-engineering would be an asset to the government and people of Ondo state.
Mrs. Olamide was the group’s Director of Strategy before her appointment.
