Eid El-Kabir: Ajipe Felicitates With Muslims. call for peace and unity of the country
The Convener of IBI GIGA AMBASSADORS Chief Dr Alex Ajipe
has congratulated the Muslim Ummah across the country on this year’s Eid el-Kabir festival.
In a Sallah statement by his media aide Solomon Adewoye in Akure, Ajipe enjoined muslim Ummah to use the period to promote peace, mutual understanding and unity of the people in the country.
Quoting the tradition of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, which stated that ‘the love of one’s nation is part of one’s belief,’ the Industrialist said Nigerians must resolve on how to move the nation out of its current multifarious challenges and take it to a greater height.
Ajipe urged the Muslim faithful and adherents of other faiths in the country to make peaceful coexistence their watchword and work together for a more peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.
“We should give thanks to Almighty Allah for His mercy over us and our nation despite all the challenges and difficulties we have encountered and are still battling with in some parts of the country”
“I urge us all to pray for peace and prosperity of Nigeria and our dear Sunshine state, Ondo State.
“It is only through the love for one another and commitment to peace, security and stability that the country can progress towards the fulfilment of its great potentials as a nation”
“therefore I urge us to reflect on the lessons of sallah. Let us imbibe the lessons of sacrifice, perseverance, love, tolerance, steadfastness and prayers for the peace and well being of our country, Nigeria.
