A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo state and the Convener of Ibi Giga Ambassadors, Chief Dr Alex Ajipe has donated Five (5) new motorcycles for the candidate of APC in February 26th Akure bye election Otunba Lawson Alade for use during the election campaign
Ajipe while speaking about the donation on Monday, said it was in fulfilment of the promise he made for the party and the candidate.
According to him, the donation is part of his modest contribution towards ensuring victory for the APC in Akure federal constituency which is very important for the party
The candidate of APC in February 26th Akure bye election, Otunba Lawson Alade had earlier visited Ajipe in his office on Monday to solicit for his support during the election.
He said, “I am donating this Motorcycles not because I want anything back, but because I have a special interest in the wellbeing of Nigerians especially our people in Ondo state.
“They need someone who will represent their interest in Abuja and I can see that as a youth, you are capable to deliver and will also support the good work of our Mr Talk and do governor.
“The APC is our party and victory must be collectively sought. I am only contributing my quota to a cause I strongly believe in, for the interest of Nigerians, especially in Ondo State
He charge every other leaders across the state to emulate and see the election as “our State election and not Akure North & South election”.
“This is our election and not just a bye election, we all must come together and work for the success of the party. As a convener of Ibi Giga Ambassadors, I will mobilise all our members to work for this election” Ajipe said.
Responding, the candidate of APC, Otunba Lawson Alade appreciate Chief Ajipe for the support and pledged to deliver dividends of democracy back to his people if elected.
The five new motorcycles was later presented to Mayokun Alade campaign organization by Ajipe’s Personal Assistant, Mr Babatunde Adebiyi on Wednesday afternoon and was received by Mr Temitope kokoEri SA to otunba Mayorkun Lawson Alade
